The user can create a new Leraning Module by using the Create link in the My Folders page, as given in the drop down menu, which is as shown by the red arrow in the screen below:
Many resources share the same type of creation steps, although the steps themselves vary according to the requirements of the type of resource. To guide the user through the creation process for some of the more complex resources, Instancy platform sets up a step-wise program for easy creation.
Create a New Learning Module:
When a Learning Module is selected from the drop down list the sample screen as shown below appears.
Note: By default metadata screen appears
This screen facilitates the user to complete a 4-Step-Program to create an Learning Module.
Step-1:
1.
Select the Metadata option from the title bar
2.
The required data for the metadata appears
3.
Complete the metadata page by entering or selecting data in the required fields. Complete the fields for which you have information
4.
Once submitted, the metadata for the Learning Module is created
5.
After entering all the required information, click Next button to move to Step-2
Step-2:
1.
Select the Output Types option from the title bar. The following screen appears:

The available output types will be displayed
3.
As desired, select the Template Type from the left. Press ctrl for selecting multiple types at a time
4.
Click on Add button to add the template type as Output Formats
The user is set to the Step-3 mode by clicking the Template option from the main menu. The following screen appears:
Step-3:

Select the Template option from the title bar. The following screen appears:

The required data for the Template is displayed with option of choosing the skin type
3.
As desired, select the Template Name from the list
4.
Alongside is also displayed the Template Preview, which appears in the preview window
5.
After selecting the skin type click Next button to move to Step-4
Step-4:
1.
Select the Folders option from the title bar. The following screen appears:

The folder structures are displayed as shown in the screen
3.
Select the path from the list where the Learning Module is to be stored
4.
After selecting the path, click on Save button to save the Learning Module created
5.
Once Saved, the new Learning Module created is stored in the selected path
6.
To create a new folder click on the New Folder button
7.
To move to the previous step click on Previous button
8.
To cancel the action click on Cancel button
Finally, when the user completes and saves the Learning Module created, it can be sent to the Reviewer for review, and accordingly if approved, it is sent to the Publisher for publishing, to be delivered to the End-User.
