Here, the user can crate a presentation by importing external PPT(out of the Instancy Platform environment). The PPT can be imported as follows:
The user can import the required PPT files by clicking on the scroll down link Document made available on the Import link (as shown by the red arrow) in the screen below:
When Document link is selected from the drop down list the sample screen as shown below appears:
Note: By default metadata screen appears
Select the File Type as PPT(ppt) from the dropdown as shown by the arrow mark in the above screen.
For Imporing Files:
Click on Select button and browse the file in your computer
Enter the values known in the fields provided
Click Next button to move to the next screen
Click Cancel to abort the action
Now, the user is set to move to the next Step of Folder option available in the pop-up window. Folder option allows the user to select the path for storage of the imported PPT file.

Select the Folder option from the title bar of the pop-up window. The following screen appears:

The folder structures are displayed as shown in the screen above

Select the path from the list where the PPT is to be stored

After selecting the path, click on Done button to save the PPT imported

Once Done, the new PPT is stored in the selected path

To create a new folder click on the New Folder button

To move to the previous step click on Previous button
